We are just over two months away from the launch of Street Fighter 6 on 2 June 2023 and now Capcom has released a demo version of the game for fans to try.

The much-anticipated latest instalment in the long-running fighting franchise will be the first in the series to launch on current-gen consoles. The new demo is available now for PS5 and PS4 users; however, it won’t be playable until 26 April for those on PC and Xbox Series X/S.

The demo aims to give players a taste of what they can expect in the full version of the game. It features two playable modes: World Tour and Fighting Ground. The former allows you to create a custom avatar and navigate open-world arenas as you learn moves from existing fighters. The latter includes a One on One Versus mode where you can play as Luke or Ryu, and a special Extreme Battle mode.

Avatars created in the demo’s World Tour mode will be carried over to the full release if you are playing on the same platform. However, there will also be the option to start again from scratch.

For those wanting to give the game a try, let’s go over how to download the Street Fighter 6 demo on PS5.
