Few games experience a development period as long and arduous as Dead Island 2. It’s a miracle the game managed to launch in such an impressive state.

Players will spend a lot of time in Dead Island 2 hunting for mysterious keys that unlock special loot caches called “lockboxes”. To find the keys, you need to locate specific zombies that are carrying them.

Once these zombies are dead, they will drop the key you need. One such key is the Military Supplies Key, which unlocks the Military Supplies Case on Lacuna Avenue.

This is where to find the Military Supplies Key in Dead Island 2:

After completing the Halperin Hotel portion of the main quest, return to the area with the Military Supplies Case (Lacuna Avenue). A Crusher zombie called “Drill Sergeant” will be patrolling. Kill him and he will drop the key. Use the key to open the Military Supplies Case. Inside is the rare Guarding Military Knife.

The Drill Sergeant is a challenging opponent due to being a Crusher zombie. At this stage of the game, they are extremely tough. He is also surrounded by other zombies.

Deal with the standard zombies first, then shift your focus to the Drill Sergeant.

We recommend using the Chem Bomb curveball to inflict Soggy on the Drill Sergeant. Then, use an electrified weapon to inflict massive damage on him.
