Last week, players got to try the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake for themselves with the surprise release of the Chainsaw Demo. And the good news keeps coming. Capcom have now revealed two new Resident Evil 4 remake outfits for both Leon and Ashley. They will be exclusive to the game’s Deluxe Edition.
In the original, players could unlock costumes by finishing the game and completing certain challenges. It is unknown if this will feature in the remake, but these new Deluxe Edition costumes mean there will be an element of character customisation.
The Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at $69.99/£65.99 on the PlayStation Store. Check out the details of the new Resident Evil 4 remake outfits below.
Resident Evil 4 remake outfits – Digital Deluxe Edition
The two new outfits embrace the sillier side of Resident Evil‘s character designs.
The first – dubbed “Casual” – decks Ashley out in emo/punk style gear reminiscent of the early 2010s. On the other hand, Leon’s outfit is simpler with a blue bomber jacket, dark jeans, and black sneakers.
The “Romantic” outfit set evokes the style of the 18th century with an intricate lace blouse for Ashley and an open collar shirt with puffy sleeves for Leon.
Both of these Resident Evil 4 remake skin sets will be available exclusively to those who purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game.
This version also includes two Leon-specific skins – named “Hero” and “Villain” – that come with unique screen filters.
What’s more, it adds a unique pistol and a special shotgun, as well as a pair of sunglasses for Leon, an in-game treasure map, and the option to swap to the original game’s soundtrack.
