Season 01 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 is well underway. Players have had a few weeks now to start unlocking and using the weapons and Blueprints it introduced. But one new Blueprint has plenty of people talking – Candy Cane. And players want to know how to unlock the Candy Cane blueprint in CoD MW2 and Warzone 2.0.
For anyone out of the loop, Weapon Blueprints were first introduced in 2019’s Modern Warfare reboot. Essentially, they act as a variant of a base weapon featuring specific attachments and a unique skin.
Some are rarer than others, and they can be super useful particularly if you don’t want to grind to unlock the attachments individually.
They also act as a statement piece in-game, as Weapon Blueprints usually boast eye-catching designs and colours.
They can be unlocked in a variety of ways, but primarily through the seasonal Battle Pass or in-game Store as part of bundles.
However, some Weapon Blueprints can only unlocked through special Call of Duty events.
Of course, many players want the unique Candy Cane P890 as it’s the Christmas period. It features a funky and festive design resembling its namesake.

How To Unlock Candy Cane Blueprint in CoD MW2 & Warzone 2.0
The Candy Cane P890 is undoubtedly sought after, and Activision has used it to help promote a Call of Duty League event.
This is how to unlock the Candy Cane blueprint in CoD MW2 and Warzone 2.0. The Candy Cane weapon blueprint can be earned by players who watch the Call of Duty League Major I Tournament between 15th-18th December 2022.
Unfortunately, there is currently no way to unlock this unique Christmas-themed P890 outside of this livestream.
Alongside the P890 blueprint, players who tune into the event on Twitch will also receive three Calling Cards, two Double XP Tokens, and two Emblems.
Blueprint Attachments
While you may not be able to access the blueprint’s festive skin, there’s nothing stopping you from using Candy Cane’s attachments on your standard P890.
These are the Candy Cane P890 blueprint attachments:
- Barrel – XRK Tacops Barrel
- Optic – SZ Sigma-IV
- Rear Grip – FJX DVF60 Grip
- Trigger Action – Bruen MG80 Trigger
If you have these attachments unlocked, simply add them to your P890 in Gunsmith to create your own Candy Cane (minus the skin, obviously).
