This guide details the best TAQ-56 loadout in Warzone 2.0 and how to unlock it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II multiplayer has been with us for a month already. And now fans are enjoying everything Warzone 2.0 has to offer.
Modern Warfare 2 has revamped the Call of Duty multiplayer and Warzone formula in a number of ways. And some of the changes have divided the fanbase. Be it the changes to the mini-map or perk system, there’s definitely a sense that not everything is perfect in the new game.
However, one area that fans are almost universally happy with is the guns. They look and sound great, and the new levelling up/unlock system is a welcome innovation.
Thankfully, Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer and Warzone 2.0 provide players with a decent selection of guns and weapons to play around with. And, as always, some are better than others.
The TAQ-56 is based on the FN SCAR assault rifle which has been featured in Call of Duty games since the original Modern Warfare 2.
It has always been a powerful assault rifle option but it didn’t receive much love in the original Warzone because of its small magazine size.
However, the TAQ-56 has emerged as one of the early metas in Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer.
So, let’s take a look at the best TAQ-56 loadout in Warzone 2.0 and how to unlock it…
How To Unlock TAQ-56 in Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2
Before players are able to customise the TAQ-56, they need to unlock it.
Most weapons in Modern Warfare 2 aren’t available from the start. And the TAQ-56 is no different.
Thankfully, it doesn’t take too many hours of play to unlock it.
This is how to unlock the TAQ-56 in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0: Players must rank up to level 19 to unlock the TAQ-56.
Best TAQ-56 Loadout and Class in Warzone 2.0
Once you have the TAQ-56, you need to start thinking about the best attachments to kit it out with.
The loadout detailed below focusses on buffing the TAQ-56’s already impressive damage output, range, and accuracy.
This is the best TAQ-56 loadout in Warzone 2.0:
Muzzle: Harbinger D20
Barrel: 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel
Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
Magazine: 60 Round Mag
Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
This loadout doesn’t use an optic. However, if you’d prefer to use one instead of making do with the basic iron sights, consider swapping out the 5.56 High Velocity ammunition for your preferred optic.
If you prefer an optic with increased zoom, we’d recommend the VLK 4.0x. Alternatively, for a simply but effective precision sight picture, consider using the SZ Mini.
