Of course, this common with every new Call of Duty release. But it still leaves players scratching their heads when they are trying to change settings to their liking.

One feature that has divided players is crossplay. On the one hand, it offers a great way to play with friends on different platforms. On the other, it leaves console players open to cheaters who play on PC (where cheating is more common).

As a result, many players opted to turn off crossplay in the last few Call of Duty games. But now they are asking how to turn off crossplay in Modern Warfare 2.

So, let’s go over how to turn off crossplay in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer…

As mentioned, playing with players on other platforms certainly comes with its pros and cons.

Not only does it offer players the chance to play with their friends on other platforms, it can also make it easier to get into games. After all, it makes the pool of players larger.

Still, cheating has blighted Call of Duty for years. And it is undoubtedly worse on PC.

This has led many console players to disable crossplay to mitigate cheating.
